I'm a retired broadcast engineer with far too many interests, so time lapse photograpy has just joined the alredy overcrowded list.
My first project will be Tree Fern growth, followed by various Cacti (Suitably priced phones permitting).
I'm not too keen making payments with a phone, however you don't seem to have any other options?
I'm in the UK.

Yes, purchasing through the phone via Google is the only way right now. It links your purchase to your account so you can use the PRO version across your devices and restore access if you need to in the future.
