[Resolved] Feature request: Save in device's images folder

I would love to have an option to save all pictures directly in my device's picture folder (in a Velocity Lapse subfolder). So not in the app's own folder, which I cannot access easily. Would love to have this as a global option as then I could include this into my phones backup. I just lost some projects as I tried to manually move these folders with Android's file manager.

Hello @bjoern, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.

Projects are saved in the app storage, yes. I'm not sure if you're aware of the Export > "Image Sequence" function, but that effectively makes a copy of the project to your device storage. So, as long as you haven't deleted the projects in the app (or moved the folders from the app folder), then you can always re export them. Does that solve your use-case?

(I'm also aware that for auto sync to DropBox, etc. this isn't ideal and I have it on the roadmap to look into how this could be done.)

🙃 I wasn't aware that image sequence is a bulk export. Seems like exactly what I was looking for. And I didn't know that was already there. Thanks!
