[Resolved] Shutter speed / Long exposure

I've just installed velocity lapse and bought Pro and have been exploring all the settings but cannot seem to set a shutter speed lower than 1/5s even though the native camera app allows me to go as slow as 16s. Am i missing something?

Tried to check the user manual but that appears to be unavailable at the moment.

What is your device model?

Your minimum and maximum shutter speed and ISO values are entirely dependent on what your device allows third-party apps to access. This can be very different than what the device native stock camera can access, unfortunately.

I'll also add that the camera preview is limited to 1/5 of a second of shutter speed to avoid queuing. This means that when setting shutter speeds longer than 1/5 of a second, it is not WYSIWYG in the preview. The preview may look dark, but the captured photos will look how they should. I'm not sure if that is the case here or not?

Many thanks for the explanation, my phone is a Motorola G84 and having now run an app that shows which camera features are made available to third-party applications I can see that unfortunately many of the cameras capabilities are not made available, including the full range of shutter speeds 🙁 So I can only hope that a future Motorola software update might improve this but I don't hold out much hope.
