[Resolved] Can't export video or images

Hi, I ve just purchased the pro version and made a test time lapse. It is pretty straightforward so far yet when I try to export it is not possible. The message is "export canceled".
I can't figure out what's going wrong.
BTW, my device is Sony Xperia V. I have a 500gb micro SD card installed.
Any help on what is going wrong and what should I do.

Hello SteveT If you go into settings and select a folder on your SD card for export (see https://guide.velocitylapse.com/settings.html#save-exported-videos-to) does that help?

Usually this error is due to lack of enough storage to complete the export, but if the issue still persists: what is your Android version?

Hi, Noah.
I created separate files, in the internal memory of my device and in the removable sd cart as well. It denies to export to these files. It gives me back the following message "cannot set the directory to this location. Try /pictures, /DCIM, /movies or /documents."
I've tried all of them but the outcome is the same. After I push the "sign" "export", it opens briefly a page "preparing for export" and immediately goes to "export canceled".

SteveT I've figure out the issue. This is a regression in the latest version. The path was coming back from the folder picker with a duplicate ending which meant that it was always trying to export to a folder that doesn't exist. I'll be submitting an update of the app to Google Play that fixes this issue today. Thank you for your patience and thank you for bringing this to my attention.

SteveT You can just update the app to the latest version (v1.5.4) from Google Play. Let me know if you run into any more issues.

Ok Noah. I 've updated to the new version. It works. It allows, at least, to export to the suggested "pictures" files at the internal memory and at the sd card, as well . It doesn't accept so far, to export directly to a newly created file such as "time lapse videos" at both the internal and sd card. So I have to do this with one more action, I mean, to move the exported videos from "picture" file to the "time lapse" file.
Any way, I think it is ok.

SteveT Due to Android security policy, Velocity Lapse would be able to write to /Pictures, /DCIM, /Documents, /Movies or subfolders of those locations, but not a "root" folder. For example, you could set it to /Pictures/time lapse videos/ but not to /time lapse videos. Is that what you're referring to?
