[Resolved] Play Services and turning off the camera

So, I have two questions about saving the battery. First, what does the app use Play Services for, and could they be disabled and second, when filming with really long intervals (2+ hours) does or could the app turn the camera off to save battery?

Hello Arno, welcome to the forum 👋

Velocity Lapse uses Play services for in-app purchasing and crash reporting. The app works entirely offline otherwise. I'd recommend turning on airplane mode when capturing time-lapses.

There are a couple of features that can help to preserve battery:

You can turn the screen off entirely

During capture, tap the lock button and the screen will go black (double-tap to show the preview again).
